Alex Rodriguez's weight loss secret is a $4,000 workout program - Page Six

Alex Rodriguez — who posted before-and-after pics of his weight loss this week with the caption “Left the Dad-bod in 2020” — has been participating in a $4,000 workout program.

The newly single (and svelte) former MLBer worked out at Miami’s 54D in the Coral Gables neighborhood. The program costs a whopping $4,000 and lasts nine weeks.

Back in March, A-Rod, 45, posted a picture of himself at the gym and, according to the owner, was devoted to sweating it out.

“A-Rod showed amazing commitment during our 54-day program,” workout founder Rodrigo Garduño tells Page Six. “He was at the training on time, no matter how busy his schedule could be. That is the only way to achieve results.“

The workout consists of HIIT training, cardio and weightlifting. It also offers nutritional counseling and asks that participants do not drink the entire nine weeks.

The plan also offers workout recovery programs — like freezing cold cryotherapy and Normatec boots, which cover the leg and offer pulse compression, we hear.

On the Instagram post, which shows side-by-side shots from December 2020 and April 2021, A-Rod wrote, “Anyone else determined to stick with their fitness goals this year? I’ve been consistent with my workouts and finally put down the chips.” He added, “What food is your weakness?”

Rodriguez recently split with fiancée Jennifer Lopez, but things seem amicable.

The pair were seen having dinner together over the weekend at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, sources exclusively told Page Six. It’s the same ritzy restaurant where they went on their first date back in 2017.
