Skip Bayless explains why he thinks Michael Jordan’s original Space Jam is so much better than LeBron James’ Space Jam 2.
Ever since the rumours of LeBron James starring in the sequel of Space Jam were deemed true, the hype around that movie immediately began. And finally on July 16th, James’ “Space Jam: A New Legacy” hit the cinemas, in most parts of the world.
Despite having a star cast including big names like LeBron James, Don Cheadle, Zendaya, Anthony Davis and many more, the highly-anticipated movie didn’t perform as well as imagined. The movie has a mere 4.2/10 IMDB rating while achieving only a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes (38% on the weekends).

Skip Bayless explains why Michael Jordan’s Space Jam was so much better the LeBron James’ Space Jam 2
LeBron James hater and sports analyst Skip Bayless channelised his inner movie critic after watching LBJ’s movie. Bayless was hating on the movie even before its release. After finally watching the movie, Bayless picks the original 1996 Space Jam starring Michael Jordan to be “so much better” than the newly-released Space Jam 2. Skip explained the difference between the two movies:
“Here’s what made the original “Space Jam” so much better than the new way-too-long, mega-budget wannabe: MJ was so much better (cooler, funnier) at playing himself than LeBron is at playing himself. LBJ tries too hard to ACT. Too often comes off unconvincing and uncomfortable.”

Being one of the best players ever LeBron James has been compared to the great Michael Jordan, on and off the court. Throughout King James’ career, he has been accomplishing accolades that can actually help him with a case in the famous GOAT debate. However, when it comes to the movies, clearly His Airness’ Space Jam was a far greater success and had gotten better reactions from fans.
