Actually, Ellen, that’s not the truth.
Kim Kardashian was quick to set the record straight after Ellen DeGeneres assumed that her 2-year-old son, Psalm West, wears costume jewelry.
“Psalm was the one wearing the giant chain around his neck,” DeGeneres said, as the screen displayed photos of Kardashian’s kids. “He wears this fake giant chain…”
“Wait, did you say fake?” the Skims founder, 40, cut in. “It’s not!”
“Oh my God, it’s huge! How can he keep his head up?” asked the talk show host, 63.
“It looks like it’s a wrestler’s belt or something. I just assumed because it’s so huge, that’s hilarious,” DeGeneres added.
“Yeah, no,” Kardashian responded.
Kardashian also explained that each of her four children — North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm — have polarized personalities that can be hard to balance.
While the bling-loving Psalm is “really into Paw Patrol and cars,” eldest North is “a total goth girl” who listens to Black Sabbath and wears fake tattoos. Saint is a “tech wiz” who loves video games, and younger daughter Chicago loves “everything princess.”
All of Kim’s children with estranged husband Kanye West do have one thing in common, however: gold necklaces with their names written in gothic font, which Psalm paired with the looping chain that caused a stir.
West is likely the one who purchased the baubles for his kids, as he recently sported a necklace of his own adorned with all four of their monikers.
